Six former Razorbacks – Mateo Fernandez de Oliveira, Luis Garza, Wil Gibson, Luke Long, Julian Perico and Tyson Reeder – have advanced to the second stage of the 2023 PGA Q School.
Arkansas started the day tied for 20th, worked its way into the coveted 15th spot with a handful of holes to play before ultimately finishing 18th (870 / +30) at the 2023 NCAA Championships, played at Grayhawk Golf Club’s Raptor Course.
Arkansas led the field with 20 birdies in round one, but only had four in round two as the Razorbacks slipped into a tie for 20th with a 20-over-par score of 301 on Saturday and a 36-hole score of 582 (+22) at the 2023 NCAA Championships, played at Grayhawk Golf Club.
Arkansas used its experience of playing desert golf from its two previous years in the NCAA Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club – Raptor Course to post an opening-day score of 281 (+1) and is in tied for second place with Pepperdine after 18 holes, one shot off leader Georgia Tech.
