morning somehow metro train arriving from naperville collided with an amtrak train. we had a northbound metra train and a southbound amtrak train and at some point where there is a turn in the tracks they came into contact with each other about 1500 people usually take that express train from naperville, . we were pulling into the station and the train started bumping really quick as though it were a speed bump then there was an impact and then a sudden stop we flew into a bunch of other people standing around me but the part of the car where i was an that was ripped open. passengers cent in these pictures from inside the train including one of a pregnant passenger in all 12 people were taken to the hospital nobody was seriously injured. the pregnant woman is doing very well. people were put onto buses. the cause of the collision is under investigation there is speculation over a switching her. we are live south of union station . a reward is now being offered to help
