This week, Kyle Chalmers finally took down the world record in the SCM men's 100 free, and USA Swimming released its SC Worlds roster.

Edwards Point is a popular hiking spot on Signal Mountain in Chattanooga. Thousands of people hike from Rainbow Lake to enjoy it each year. But only recently has Edwards Point received official protection, thanks to the purchase of 32 acres by the Tennessee River Gorge Trust, the conservation nonprofit formed forty years ago.

Two exhibitions now on display at Chattanooga’s Hunter Museum of American Art offer international perspectives on art - along with a critique on how those perspectives are shaped and reshaped, perceived and misperceived, over time.
