OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — John W. Winkle III, a longtime University of Mississippi political science professor who wrote a definitive reference book about the Mississippi Constitution , has died.

Longtime University of Mississippi political science & Ole Miss law professor John W. Winkle has died at age 75.

A longtime University of Mississippi professor and expert on the state constitution died at the age of 75. He died after having a brain hemorrhage in Memphis, Tennessee.
