The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey halted the $2.05 billion project at the request of New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Gov. Kathy Hochul says she is committed to a Penn Station overhaul but did not provide details on what the project should look like.

Gov. Kathy Hochul has told the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to find an alternative to disgraced ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s $2.1 billion “AirTrain” pet project between LaGuardia Airport and eastern Queens.

Governor Kathy Hochul asked for a review of AirTrain alternatives.

Governor Cuomo today also announced $1.5 million in additional funding to the Council for Airport Opportunity for the LaGuardia Career Center.
