For the past month, Sarasota police detectives have had their hands full investigating with not one, but two deaths that have rattled their community. Now, a suspect is behind bars for at least one.

Sarasota Police have arrested a suspect in relation to a woman who was found dead on the North Tamiami Trail in February, and think he may be behind the murder of another woman in the same area less than two weeks later.

William Devonshire is a suspect in Kelliann Ripleys murder and Sarasota police say he could be tied to another homicide that occurred shortly after.
