A man charged with stabbing an off-duty state corrections officer to death during a dispute between neighbors in Vineland last year has been transferred back to jail in New Jersey from Florida.
Zachary T. Latham, 19, was indicted in February on second-degree charges of reckless manslaughter and two counts of aggravated assault in the May 4, 2020, killing of William T. Durham Sr., 51.
The killing followed a long-running feud between Latham and the Durham family that culminated in a bloody brawl at Latham’s home.

A Cumberland County grand jury has indicted a South Jersey man in the May 2020 stabbing death of his neighbor.
Zachary T. Latham, 18, formerly of Vineland, was indicted Friday on second-degree charges of reckless manslaughter and two counts of aggravated assault in the killing of William T. Durham Sr., 51, a veteran state corrections officer.
The killing followed a long-running feud between Latham and the Durham family that culminated in a May 4 brawl at Latham’s home.
Latham was armed with a stun gun and knives and stabbed the unarmed Durham Sr. multiple times.
The Cumberland County Prosecutor s Office says an 18-year-old man who gained widespread attention for allegedly killing his neighbor last May has been indicted in connection to that homicide.
Zachary T. Latham, formerly of Vineland, was indicted on Friday on second-degree reckless manslaughter, two counts of second-degree aggravated assault, two counts of third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and one count of fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon charges in connection to the homicide of 51-year-old William T. Durham, Sr., of Vineland, on May 4th.
NJ.com reports Latham was charged in the killing of the veteran state corrections officer following an ongoing dispute. Latham was released from jail that same month over the objection of prosecutors and Durham’s family. He was allowed to move to Florida while he awaited trial in New Jersey.

A New Jersey man charged with stabbing his neighbor to death last year has surrendered to Florida authorities after his pre-trial release was revoked earlier this week.
Zachary T. Latham, 18, of Vineland, was charged with aggravated manslaughter in the May 4 killing of 51-year-old William T. Durham Sr., a state corrections officer, following a long-running feud.
A New Jersey Superior Court judge revoked Latham’s pre-trial release and issued a bench warrant for his arrest Tuesday, citing multiple violations of release orders.
Latham was booked into jail in Collier County, Florida, on Thursday on that warrant.
