A Wilson man has been arrested on outstanding drug and weapons charges and jailed in the Nash County Detention Center after a multi-agency investigation that has lasted nearly a year.
According to a press release from the Nash County Sheriffâs Office, as the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation, a traffic stop was conducted Jan. 22 on Orlando Dickens for a traffic violation on U.S. 264 eastbound at mile-marker 27.
During a search of the Mercedes Sprinter van, which was displaying a fake company logo of XPO Logistics, 17.6 pounds of marijuana was located and seized.
On April 2, with the assistance from the Wilson County Sheriff s Office, a search was made of Dickens residence in Wilson and two stolen firearms were discovered.
