Windham Centre crash claims driver s life

A single-vehicle crash south of Windham Centre has claimed the life of a driver. Norfolk OPP say the vehicle was traveling westbound on Windham Road 9 early Sunday afternoon when it left the road into a ditch, struck trees and rolled over. Windham Road 9 was closed for most of the afternoon Sunday, between Bakers Lane and Nixon Road while technical personnel investigated the crash. The identity of the accident victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
