PUTNEY –– A Putney man was arrested by deputies of the Windham County Sheriff's Office on Oct. 18, following an extensive investigation and search. Jared Stockman, 41, was taken into custody on a warrant for escape issued by the Vermont Department of Corrections. Deputy Thomas Raymond and Det. Sgt. Mario Checchi led the investigation. The
