ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. Students at the Windom Elementary School in Orchard Park are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a few ducklings.
According to the school, a duck made her nest in the school courtyard, so they set up a mommy duck cam to see when they hatch. The school anticipates that the eggs will hatch around Mother s Day, May 9.
The school is working with the Humane Society on a post-hatch plan.

WINDOM A suspect is in police custody after a child reported that he had sexually assaulted them on multiple occasions.
The victim s parents spoke with officials at Windom Elementary School, saying that the child had broken down in the shower and told the parents someone had been touching them. The person had sexually assaulted the child three times over the last three years, the parents said.
While being interviews at Child s Voice, the victim named Marcelo Perez Hernandez, 44, of Windom, as their attacker. The alleged assaults happened while Perez Hernandez was babysitting the victim.
