Rory McIlroy missed a three-foot putt on the 18th as he clung to the coattails of the leaders at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.
The Irishman goes into the final day four shots behind leader Lee Westwoord but the gap should have been smaller as he agonisingly saw his eagle putt fall short on 16 before the mishap on the last.
Westwood climbed to the top of the leaderboard after an entertaining third round of 65 to sit one clear at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
