Winnie Tate News Today

The great thing about Annie Get Your Gun is that the audience knows most if not all of the songs, and probably the story as well

You could think of it as the original battle of the sexes: In the 1870s, a young Midwestern rifle prodigy named Annie Oakley took on a traveling-show marksman named Frank

I've mentioned before that I don't generally care for musicals. Never have. I did fall in love with West Side Story as a kid, but when other movies like Oklahoma!, Carousel, Paint Your Wagon, and yes, even Annie Get Your Gun came on tv, I was outta there. This is how it has been for most of my life (although I did get to see Wicked on Broadway, and wowzer!)

Vanguard University's department of theatre arts will present the smash hit Broadway musical, Mamma Mia. The production is presented in the Lyceum Theater on the Vanguard University campus, beginning February 25th, 2022, and running three weekends through March 13th.
