Microsoft veteran of 28 years Bonnie Ross has announced her retirement to spend more time with family.

Ross cited a "family medical issue" as the reason behind her departure from the studio, which she has been with since the original Halo launch.

Bonnie Ross, the founder and head of 343 Industries, is leaving the studio. Studio vet, Pierre Hintze is now studio head.

343 Industries has broken its promise to bring split-screen co-op to Halo Infinite by cancelling it, upsetting fans and eroding trust between the studio and Halos community.

343 Industries is no longer developing local campaign split-screen co-op, a feature that was promised for years.

Halo Infinite’s co-op campaign and Forge map editor are delayed again. So is season 3 of Halo Infinite multiplayer. Co-op and Forge are expected on Nov. 8, when the game’s winter update period begins, and Forge’s release is beta only, 343 Industries said on Sept. 1.
