Mar 6, 2021 FLORENCE, Wis. Glacial Gardeners Master Gardener Association Volunteers have announced that the Inga Fleming Memorial Scholarship will once again be available to area residents. Students pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree in one of the following qualifying majors are eligible: agriculture or applied economics, agricultural education, agronomy, botany, entomology, environmental sciences, forest service, horticulture, landscape architecture, plant pathology, soil science or wildlife Ecology. Students may be first year or returning. Applications for the $500 award are available at all high school counselor offices in Iron and Dickinson counties in Michigan as well as Florence and the Niagara corner of Marinette counties in Wisconsin along with the Financial Aid Offices at Bay West College and NWTC. Applications are also available online at www.florence.extension.wisc.edu. Deadline for application is June 1.
