Last year at this time, in the beginning of the school year, the first full week. Our traffic officers responded to 25 collisions in school zones. 14 of them involving a pedestrian, and 11 involving bicyclists. Michael Stevens the most recent complete data shows in the 20142015 school year, from september 1st through june 15th, there were three pedestrian deaths and two bicyclists.
