A new United Supermarkets store was unveiled Tuesday in southwest Lubbock, making it the grocery chain s 12th location in the city and its 97th location across Texas and New Mexico.
The new location, which officially opens Wednesday, represents what United leaders called the next generation of United Supermarkets stores, with a variety of new features including an Evie Mae s barbecue restaurant and more spacious surroundings in the location at 114th Street and Slide Road.
“At United, our mission has been pretty simple. We want to work hard to offer ultimate services and all that we do, and strive for superior performance to meet all our guests needs, and make a positive impact on the communities we serve,” said Sidney Hopper, president of United Supermarkets.
