The University of Michigan confirms internet access has been restored at all campuses following a multi-day outage university-wide.

The first day of college was also a bit chaotic at U-M after the university shut down internet service due to a ‘security concern,' leaving many students confused about class locations.   

The outage began around 1:45 p.m. Sunday on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn and Flint campuses. All online services including email, Canvas, Google, and Wolverine Access were inaccessible.

All three of the University of Michigan campuses are currently without internet access, and its the first day of classes.

Ann Arbor, Flint and Dearborn campus students are all unable to use online services like Google, Canvas, Wolverine Access and email on the first day back to class.
