U.S. Department of Homeland Security DHS announce additional 64,716 H-2B temporary nonagricultural work visas for 2023 fiscal year to address seasonal worker need where there are too few U.S. workers. Visas will be added to standard annual allotment of 66,000 H-2B visas.

The Departments of Homeland Security and Labor announced an extra 64,000+ H-2B visas this week, as they also unveiled efforts to reform the controversial program.

The United States is "expanding lawful labor pathways" for Mexican and Northern Central American nationals, the Department of Homeland Security announced on Wednesday.
