The board directed its staff to pursue the pagota a option. First the pagota theater option is far less disruptive to the community. Secondly, we will be tearing down a 15 plusyear blighted eyesore that the neighborhood has wanted to move forward for many, many years and thirdly, this is an option that leaves open the possibility of extending the central subway to north beach and beyond. They get lousy conditions and they have to hire me and spend a bunch of money or somebody to deal with that and maybe they are going to pay the rent for 6 months and then what happens .
