NWA Reveals Tyrus’ Debut Opponent For Back For The Attack

The NWA has announced the opponent for former WWE and Impact star Tyrus at their upcoming Back For The Attack pay-per-view.
It was previously announced that Tyrus will be making his NWA debut at Back For The Attack. The NWA announced this afternoon that Tyrus will be going up against JR Kratos, who is one-half of the NWA World Tag Team Champions with Aron Stevens. Stevens is set to challenge Nick Aldis for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Title at the pay-per-view.
There is still no word yet on who will face former WWE and Impact star Chris Adonis (Chris Masters) in his NWA debut.
NWA Powerrr Returning Soon, More On The NWA Relaunch On FITE

As Wrestling Inc. first reported earlier this week, the NWA struck a new distribution deal that resulted in the company pulling their content from YouTube. NWA owner Billy Corgan has officially announced that the company is returning to action on FITE TV after a temporary shutdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Corgan spoke with Dan Gelston of The Associated Press and confirmed that the NWA will be relaunching on Sunday, March 21 with the “Back For The Attack” pay-per-view on FITE TV that we reported on earlier today. Corgan also announced that the NWA Power series will resume that following Tuesday, March 23. After previously airing on YouTube in the 6:05pm timeslot, Power will now air on FITE via a low-cost subscription bundle, in the same timeslot.

It looks like the NWA will be returning this month with a “Back For The Attack” pay-per-view on FITE.TV.
There has been a lot of speculation on the future of the NWA after it was revealed over the weekend that they removed all videos from YouTube, including the Power and Shockwave series, which came after a temporary shutdown due to COVID-19. It was exclusively reported here on Wrestling Inc that the content was removed due to a new distribution deal that would be announced soon. The new distribution deal would bring in new revenue for the NWA, more than they were making from YouTube.
