marketing. when people think government contracts, they think airplane parts. what got you thinking about this? >> government works like a business. they purchase everything you wouldn't think of. i started looking into the government to see what they procure on their website. >> how hard was it? it's a common thought that it's not worth the red tape going through the beaurocracy. >> everything in life is hard. if you want something, you have to stay focused. it's not easy to land a federal government contract. if you stay focused and persevere, you will get one if you are good at what you do. >> what tips do you have? >> i think the most important thing with federal government contracting is stay true to your core and focus on what you do.
