Trans magician threatened, forced to cancel shows in Wyoming © Shutterstock Library A trans women set to perform magic shows at two libraries in Wyoming was forced to cancel the events due to threats from residents. Mikayla Oz, 24, was going to hold six magic shows in the towns of Gillette and Wright in Wyoming’s northeast corner on Wednesday and Thursday. A well-regarded magician across the Midwest, Oz performed at 43 libraries in just 30 days last month and had 36 appearances scheduled for July, according to the Billings Gazette. But the shows at Campbell County Public Library and Wright Branch Library were called off after multiple threats were made against Oz and library staff, the organization said in a Facebook post.
