Junior Chess Club - ONLINE

About this Event Does your child love to play chess? Join Wyndham City Libraries for Junior Chess Club Online, where children can practise their chess skills and play other kids in the Wyndham area. Junior Chess Club meets online every Tuesday from 3:45pm – 5:00pm, with game play beginning at 4:00pm. Sessions will run from Tuesday February 2nd until Tuesday March 30th. For kids aged 8 – 12. Kids must already know how to play chess in order to participate. All sessions will run online in ChessKid. You will receive further information and access to ChessKid once your booking is confirmed. Bookings are essential. You only need to book in once. Once you gain access to ChessKid you can attend as many weekly sessions as you like!

Date Time Wyndham Teens Take Virtual Trip To Kentucky Virtual travel is now an option for Wyndham tweens and teens thanks to Wyndham City Libraries. ‘Hello USA!’ is open to children aged 10 to 14 years and is an opportunity for young residents to join Library staff and travel virtually from Melbourne to Kentucky in the US. On Saturday 8 March from 10am until 11am, library staff will facilitate a one-hour, online session with a small group of young people from Melbourne, Victoria and Nicholasville, Kentucky. This FREE, online event will be run via Microsoft Teams and facilitated by Education and Youth Librarians from Wyndham City Libraries and Teen Librarians from the Jessamine County Public Library (Kentucky).
