The Lagos State Command in Nigeria has arrested a 23-year-old ex-convict, Yakub Yusuf for breaking into the state fire service building and stealing, just a few hours after he was released from prison. The spokesperson for the police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin who made this known in a statement on Thursday said Yusuf was arrested by personnel of the Rapid Response Squad on Saturday while he was committing the crime. Hundeyin said that the suspect was released from prison some hours before he was rearrested for theft.
