A $26 billion opioid settlement involving more than 4,000 state and local governments claims has received final approval, according to Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul.
Slatery said Tennessee will receive $600 million of that payout over the next 18 years, and most of that money will be used to battle the opioid epidemic.
