GREATER NOIDA: Around 400 villagers on Thursday staged a protest outside Bisrakh police station against its SHO and other officers for allegedly misbehaving with a lawyer and their former village pradhan.
The protestors demanded that an FIR be lodged against the Bisrakh SHO Munish Chauhan till Sunday or they “will protest again”.
They alleged that Chauhan had pointed a pistol at their former pradhan.
They said Bisrakh policemen have been “deliberately intervening in all construction-related affairs with vested interests.”
However, the police said these were “false allegations” and lodged an FIR against around 150 villagers, including 14 named persons.
