Realtors donate to regional food cupboards

The Greater Rochester Association of Realtors recently teamed with Upstate New York Real Estate Information Services and the Realtors Charitable Foundation to donate to area food pantries.
The organizations donated a total of $15,000 to food cupboards in Allegany, Cayuga, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates counties.
“With a greater number of individuals and families experiencing food shortage this year, we wanted to contribute to organizations across our entire region,” GRAR CEO Jim Yockel said.
Locally, donations went to Foodlink in Rochester, Hope Center Keuka Food Pantry in Penn Yan, Newark Food Closet and Twin Cities Food Cupboard in Manchester.
