Hospital for Special Care (HFSC) has awarded Avis and John Devine 2020’s M. Gertrude McCue Volunteer of the Year Award. This award, which began in 1991, honors an individual’s dedication and compassion to making a difference for HFSC’s staff, patients, visitors and community. The Devines have volunteered at HFSC’s Manes & Motions Therapeutic Riding Center for eight years.Contributed photo

RWL announces Winners of the Caribbean Readers’ Awards 2020
Rebel Women Lit (RWL) recently announced the Winners of the Caribbean Readers’ Awards 2020. Our warmest congratulations to all the winners (listed below).
As RWL explains, The Caribbean Readers’ Award recognizes outstanding works in Caribbean Literature. The prize is given to one fiction novel, YA novel, middle grade/tween novel, nonfiction works, short stories, and translated literature. RWL also recognized individuals who embody the spirit of Rebel Women Lit and have made recognizable contributions in their field and in the Caribbean Literature community. The selected awardees are highlighted as Rebel Women Lit Critics and Honorees.
projections of what furious 7 a seven-piece could bring in. this is amazing. absolutely. really unusual for a franchise to be so strong and to have the 7 film be the biggest so far. this is a big win for universal. the film was on track to score as much as a billion dollars worldwide and a film not based on a comic book on young adult novel. and they will more than make back the $200 million they spent to produce the film and they are working on an 8 film and hoping to get it tout by 2017. this of course does import a long launch for universal attraction. and a lot of people are supporting paul walker and his brothers caleb and cody stepped in as body doubles so they could finish the film.
and an escape. it transforms the people around her. we caught up with the cast. this newcomer, this girl has it all going. she s fantastic. we asked them what they want audiences to take away from this. germany has an amazing heritage of literature and music, great philosophers. this was a chapter where it was going completely off the rails and corrupting a huge percentage of the population. but if you look at the story, it s story telling and literature and poetry and music that become the positive, generous healing, the hopeful aspects of how people live their lives. would that be a good movie for your kids? it is, young adult novel. it has a little history lesson and a warm, emotional story. originally, it was suppose to be
