2021 Winner Fahim Islam Anik, presenting to the judges Our Speak Out for Engineering (SOfE) competition was established in 1964 to challenge young engineers across the globe; not only their technical ability but their ability to communicate engineering through public speaking and great communication. The Institution is proud to announce this year’s winner, Fahim Islam Anik, from Bangladesh representing South Asia, and runner up Callum Wilson, representing the UK and Ireland for their innovative and impassioned presentations.
Fahim, whose winning presentation detailed the development of a smart walking stick, has enjoyed every aspect of the competition; the experience could not have been more valuable to him.
