Green councillor Tom Druitt urged colleagues and political rivals make potentially unpopular decisions as part of the fight against climate change. He said they should be brave when discussing the new measures recommended by Brighton and Hove Climate Assembly and Youth Climate Assembly. Councillor Druitt said: “This does not mean we all have to go and live in caves. It does mean we are going to have to make some difficult decisions when it comes to implementing the recommendations.
