Para dar cumplimiento al Artículo 68 de la Ley de Desarrollo Integral de la Juventud, el Comité Organizador inició los trabajos de la decimosexta edición del Parlamento de la Juventud Veracruzana, ejercicio democrático que impulsa la participación y proyección de las nuevas generaciones en la vida política y social de la entidad.
En virtud de lo anterior, las diputadas Elizabeth Cervantes de la Cruz y Adriana Esther Martínez Sánchez, presidenta y secretaria de la Comisión Permanente de Juventud y Deporte y Atletas con Discapacidad de la LXV Legislatura respectivamente, el director general del Instituto Veracruzano de la Juventud (IVJ), Jonathan Ramírez Martínez, y la titular de Unidad de Género de la Secretaría de Educación de Veracruz (SEV), Angélica Pineda Pérez, pusieron en marcha los preparativos.
