The future has never sounded brighter. Houston Chamber Choir's Hear The Future Invitational Choral Festival will take place on the weekend of January 27 - 28 at South Main Baptist Church and allow audiences to experience the budding performers in their nascent years as they display their developing talents to the world.
Houston Chamber Choir announced its 28th seasons theme, "A Heart for the Choral Art." The eight-concert season runs September through May 2023 and will highlight the choir's vocal versatility, variety, and cultural relevance.

Symphonic Roar: An Odyssey of Sound from the Paris Conservatoire (APL97957), featuring
Yuri McCoy, organist, and
Brady Spitz, percussionist.
The disc, surveying a century of music by composers affiliated with the Paris Conservatory, includes works by Guilmant, Bonnet, Saint-Saëns, Vierne, and Florentz.
Amériques, originally composed in 1922 by Varese, was transcribed by McCoy, including percussion. A third performer was necessary to work the siren, crow call, train whistle, and cyclone whistle.
