GRODNO, 4 May (BelTA) - The agricultural industry of Grodno Oblast has increased by 14% over the past five years. It is important to maintain the growth rate, to continue the development of the industry, Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Ivan Krupko said as he introduced Grodno Oblast First Vice Governor Yuri Valevaty to the staff of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee, BelTA has learned.
In his new position, Yuri Valevaty will oversee the region s agricultural industry. This is a difficult and responsible job, Ivan Krupko said.
