The car cam video footage was loaded to Twitter by social cohesion advocate Yusuf Abramjee, who said: “Escort vehicle attacked. The driver rammed the two cars of the attackers.” According to the time stamp on the footage, the incident took place on 22 April at around 10h25 in the morning.

Lucky Mshubi appeared in the Lenasia Magistrate s Court on Friday. He will remain in custody until his next appearance in June. Lucky Mshubi, the man arrested for the murder of a missing Lenasia woman, will not apply for bail. Mshubi will remain in custody after he indicated to the court that he does not wish to apply for bail and opted to conduct his own defence, Gauteng National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) Spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane said in a statement on Friday. This comes after Mshubi, 36, appeared in the Lenasia Magistrate s Court on charges of murder, housebreaking with intent to rob, robbery with aggravating circumstances, kidnapping, and defeating the ends of justice.

Gauteng cops arrest suspect after abducted Lenasia woman s body found in shallow grave

Her family identified the body. Police have arrested a suspect, while the search continues for another. Gauteng police arrested a 36-year-old man on Tuesday night following the discovery of the body of a woman who was reportedly abducted in Lenasia South. The body was found in a shallow grave at Phumlamqashi. It is reported that on Thursday 22 April 2021 at approximately 06h00, a 31-year-old woman was abducted from her home by two men. The suspects are alleged to have then driven off in the victim s vehicle that was later found abandoned in Ennerdale, spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo said in a statement on Wednesday.
