JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - Jackson Township Police canceled the Amber Alert for two boys who were abducted from a hotel by a 27-year-old man on Friday after the children were found safe.
Police said the incident happened at 4631 Everhard Road NW at 5:50 p.m.
The Amber Alert was canceled around 7:15 p.m.
The first child is 2-year-old Carter Parker, who is 3â²11â³ tall, 33 pounds, has brown hair, and brown eyes, according to police.
JACKSON TWP. – A 27-year-old man faces multiple felonies following an Amber Alert case on Friday.
Warrants were issued for Zachary Dean Parker of Jackson Township charging him with kidnapping and domestic violence, according to Massillon Municipal Court records.
Parker is accused of punching the mother of his two sons multiple times, then bit her arm, at the Red Roof Inn at 5353 Inn Cir. NW in Jackson Township around 4:05 p.m.
He is accused of forcibly grabbing the boys, ages 1 and 2, and fleeing the area in a purple Ford Explorer. Parker is the biological father but does not and has never had legal custody, according to court records.
