Zanesville Man Charged with 5th OVI Offense

Troopers say on Thursday 53-year-old Joseph Kirkpatrick of Zanesville was driving south on State Street and was stopped for operating a vehicle with no lights on. The patrol says during the investigation it was found that Kirkpatrick was impaired by alcohol. He is scheduled to appear in Zanesville Municipal Court on May 13
th at 8:00 a.m.

Man wanted after Zanesville shooting, girlfriend arrested in Cambridge

Two people facing multiple felony charges including a man charged with attempted murder in connection with a Zanesville shooting were arrested by Cambridge police Saturday at a South 11th Street apartment.
Jamarr A. McConnell, 31, Zanesville, and Jasmine N.D. Harding, 21, Cambridge, were arrested and transported to the Guernsey-Muskingum county line where they were released into the custody of Zanesville police officers.
A vehicle owned by Harding was also impounded at the request of Zanesville police.
McConnell is facing one count of attempted murder, a first-degree felony; 22 counts each of felonious assault and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, second-degree felonies, and discharging a firearm over a public roadway, third-degree felonies; and one count of tampering with evidence, a third
