"We wish to reiterate that the company is committed to the merger with Sony and is continuing to work towards a successful closure of the proposed merger," it said in a clarification to the exchanges.
ZEEL shares were trading amid high volumes with over 3.62 crore changing hands on the NSE around 11:15 am. The stock which was under the F&O ban list till Tuesday is out of the ban now.
“We do not see Mr Punit Goenka jeopardising the position of the shareholders in the company and we believe a positive outcome will emerge out of this. But fresh additions are slightly risky at this point of time just in case something does not work out in their favour. In the next two days, we will get more clarity.”
