State police detectives investigating suspicious incident in Coventry

COVENTRY State police detectives have taken over an investigation into a “suspicious incident” at a Zeya Drive home Saturday.
Trooper First Class Josue Dorelus said detectives with the Eastern District Major Crime Squad were called to the scene of the “active investigation” there by Tolland State’s Attorney Matthew Gedansky.
“Based on preliminary information, there does not appear to be any criminal element to this incident,” said Dorelus.
He did not say what the incident was that police are investigating.
