The FBI's latest descent into abject incompetence and corruption can be summed up in three letters — DEI. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Don Solomon was paid $326,272 a year as chief. Plus he got to run a business on the side — “security.” He didn’t have one police car, but two. The second was used by Chief Solomon to smoke cigars in. You can’t be a real organized-crime don unless you smoke cigars.

The Deep State alibis have expanded to allegedly protecting “sources and methods,” or “It’s in litigation.” But it was obviously time for a new dodge, and Christopher Wray unveiled the updated swerve Wednesday.

The bad news for crooked ex-state cop Dana Pullman is that he got a 30-month sentence in federal court this week. The good news is, it’s not going to immediately affect the $65,439.12-a-year state pension that he’s been collecting since 2018.

John “Zip” Connolly is apparently one of those hoodlums who cares what his obituary says about him after he’s dead and gone. He’d prefer not to have “Mob hitman” in the first sentence of his death notice, but he's failed yet again in getting that done.

It could have been worse for the Delta Airlines pilot (or pilots) who were “detained” by the Boston FBI for 45 minutes Tuesday night in the latest colossal screw-up by the local G-men.

Charles McGonigal, the former head of counterintelligence in the FBIs New York field office, was indicted in January for allegedly taking money from a sanctioned Russian oligarch. The FBI has had corruption scandals before that could tell us about how compromised agents cover their tracks.
