WAYNE, NJ – There are three Passaic County commissioner seats up for election this year. One of these seats is currently occupied by Wayne resident John Bartlett (D), who will be running for re-election. Just this past week, the Passaic County Regular Republican Party released their slate of nominees for the 2021 elections, and a Wayne vs. Wayne showdown may be coming.
Former Fifth Ward Councilwoman, Aileen Rivera (R) has been nominated to run on the GOP line for county commissioner.
The other two candidates running with Rivera are Totowa businessman Nick Gallo and Ringwood councilman Bill Marsala. On the democrat ticket with Bartlett are Sandi Lazzara and Assad Akhter; both of whom are current county commissioners.
