Zomato shares ended flat at Rs 157.45 on BSE on Monday. Zomato stock opened higher at Rs 157.50. In a year, the Zomato stock has risen 203% and climbed 26.47% in 2024.
Zomato reported a 283 per cent rise on a QoQ basis in the net profit at Rs 138 crore in the December 2023 quarter, while its nep profit came in at Rs 36 crore in the year ago period.
Shares of online food delivery provider Zomato Ltd have nearly tripled from their 52-week low in 2023. The stock, which fell to yearly low of Rs 44.35 on January 25, 2023 hit a high of Rs 131 in the current session, delivering 195% returns during the period. The stock came close to touch its 52-week high of Rs 131.75 reached on December 19, 2023.
Shares of online food delivery provider Zomato Ltd are in focus amid reports which said Japanese tech giant SoftBank is likely to sell shares of Zomato worth Rs 1125 crore or 1.1% stake via a block deal today. The shares will be sold at a price of Rs 120.50 per share. Zomato shares ended at Rs 121.80, up 2.44% in the last session on BSE. However, it was not immediately known who will be the buyers in this transaction.
