Bangladeshi lyricist, composer Rajbongshi no more
Dhaka, Apr 7 (UNI) Bangladesh s famous lyricist and composer Indramohan Rajbongshi, died of coronary heart disease at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital (BSMMU) here around 1020 hrs on Wednesday.
The director of the hospital Brigadier General Zulfiqar Ahmed Amin confirmed the matter to the media.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep grief over the death of Indramohan Rajbangshi. In his condolence message, he said the contribution of this talented artist who won the Ekushey Padak in the development of folk songs of the country will be remembered. The Prime Minister wished her peace of mind and extended her deepest condolences to her bereaved family members.

Over 500 vaccinated on second day No report of side effects The New Nation

A total of 541 people were vaccinated on the 2nd day of the vaccination programme in the capital.
Among the vaccine recipients, most were health care professionals.
They were vaccinated from the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Kurmitola General Hospital, Mugda General Hospital and Kuwait Maitree Hospital.
Dr. Kanak Kanti Barua, Vice Chancellor (VC) of BSMMU, has taken the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. It is my social and personal responsibility at this. People will get confidence and courage, said the VC after receiving jab.
