Air quality warnings issued for western, central Manitoba due to wildfires
The province s wildfire service has issued air quality warnings for parts of western and central Manitoba and several highways have been shut down due to smoke.

The province s wildfire service has issued air quality warnings for parts of western and central Manitoba and several highways have been shut down due to smoke.

The Manitoba government says the fire has grown to about 40 hectares. They ask everyone to avoid the area. Original story
Manitoba and Ontario fire crews are currently battling a fire east of Falcon Beach.
The Whiteshell Cottagers Association says that three water bombers are currently fighting a 10 hector fire which is located in the Toniata area, which is east of the Falcon Beach townsite.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has confirmed that 2 water bombers and bird dog aircraft are providing aerial support.
