WandaVision as Wanda, aka Scarlet Witch – a character she first portrayed in
Avengers: Age of Ultron with a strong accent inspired by her character’s fictional home of Sokovia.
However, in all of Olsen’s subsequent appearances, her character now speaks with an ordinary American accent.

In a new interview with
Collider, Olsen revealed that she created the accent with a dialect coach alongside actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played Wanda’s late brother Pietro.
Olsen explained: “We wanted to make sure it didn’t sound Russian because Black Widow speaks Russian, and so we just needed to sound more like Slovakian.

After a more than satisfying send-off at the end of Avengers: Endgame, audiences may still see Chris Evans return as Captain America once again. New reports say that the original MCU Avenger is currently in talks to reprise his role as Steve Rogers, aka, Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Insiders disclose that while still early, the talks involve Evans reprising the role in one property so far. And, there’s also an option for another movie as well.
These appearances might not be in subsequent movies within the Captain America franchise. But instead, might be as supporting roles in other Marvel movies. While surprising, it’s not the first time the MCU has experienced this type of a comeback.
Steve Rogers. It turns out, however, that old man Steve Rogers wasn’t actually part of Evans’ goodbye plans. Mackie recently appeared on
The Jess Cagle Show where he revealed that Evans wasn’t supposed to play the old version of Steve Rogers. Instead, Marvel Studios brought in three older actors to audition for the role before it was eventually given to Evans.
“Well, it’s funny they actually wanted to cast an old dude to play Chris Evans,” he says. “So they brought in like three actors. They’re like, none of these, like this, isn’t how Chris will look when he’s old. Like, he’s gonna, he’s like George Clooney. He’s going to be 95 and still like handsome, you know? So they, they brought in a makeup team and prosthetics and makeup and made them into an old man. And how good of an actor Chris is it actually worked like he, he pulled it off with his voice and everything. He did a great job.”
