ARRESTS MADE AFTER REPORT OF SHOTS FIRED IN MARSHALL

Area authorities were dispatched to the report of shots fired over this past weekend. At approximately 12:28 a.m. on Sunday, May 23, the Marshall Police Department received information from Saline County E-911 concerning a report of gunshots in the 100 block of South Lafayette Avenue. Upon officers’ arrival, they received information one person had been shot and was transported by personal vehicle to Fitzgibbon Hospital for treatment. Officers made two arrests, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not released the names of the arrested persons. If CDC approves Pfizer for 12 to 15-year-olds, some counties to distribute, others not

MISSOURI -Â The CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices willÂ meet Wednesday to adviseÂ the CDC director on recommending use of the Pfizer vaccine for children between the ages of 12 and 15.Â Some mid-Missouri health departments and centers are preparing clinics to serve this new eligible community, but other said they don t and won t have the supplies to distribute the Pfizer vaccine to this age group.Â KOMU 8 News reached out to eight mid-Missouri county health departments to see if the vaccine will be available to this age group. Hospitals and independent vaccine distribution clinics are not included in this county analysis.Â Below are the health department and centers responses:Â
