Police release name of man shot to death in Fairfield
FAIRFIELD Police released the name Tuesday of a man who died after being shot Friday in a residential area of the city.
Gabriel Oseguera-Preciado, 22, who police report was associated with residences in both Fairfield and Vacaville, died after being shot during what police describe as “an altercation” that ended with gunfire.
Police dispatchers began receiving phone calls at approximately 1:30 p.m. of a possible shooting on the 1900 block of Grande Circle.
Responding personnel found Oseguera-Preciado with gunshot wounds and immediately rendered aid, police reported last week in a press release. Officers initiated CPR until fire and medical personnel arrived on the scene and took over.

FAIRFIELD A 22-year-old man died Friday after being shot during what police describe as “an altercation” that ended with gunfire.

Body found in Fairfield parking lot identified

The woman has been identified as 24-year-old Jasmine Morales of Fairfield.
A passerby alerted police just before 6 a.m. after seeing the unresponsive body in a parking lot in the 1500 block of Travis Boulevard. Police and fire crews arrived and pronounced her dead,
The autopsy confirmed the presence of controlled substances in Jasmine s system, but more information is needed from the full toxicology report to help understand what happened, police said.

FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Fairfield police on Monday announced the human remains found in a field near an Amtrak station have been identified.
Police identified Zachary Lukas Rose of Fairfield as the deceased. Police said Rose went missing nearly three years ago and that he would have turned 31 in March.
Rose s body and clothing were found in a field near Cement Hill and Peabody roads by the Fairfield/Vacaville Amtrak station, police said on Saturday.
