Pho Viet USA, a Vietnamese restaurant chain throughout the greater Washington region, opened at 4917 Cordell Ave. in Bethesda on Wednesday.
Pho Viet USA specializes in Pho, a Vietnamese soup consisting of broth, rice noodles, onions, pepper, Thai basil and bean sprouts as the base. The restaurant serves 10 types of Pho, each with proteins such as steak, chicken and shrimp, all between $14 and $18.
Pho Viet USA also serves rice entrees such as vegetable steamed rice with fried tofu, chicken fried rice and rice with beef. Rice dishes are between $12 and $15.
