Here we are, at the Sir Doug Nicholls Round, leading into the byes and the practical halfway point of the season.

Port Adelaide Power have concluded their investigation into plagiarism claims about their indigenous guernsey and even though it was found to have been a stolen design, the original artist has supported the club wearing it.
The shocking twist surrounding the special guernsey for Sir Doug Nicholls Round came just 48 hours after the club unveiled the design at a media event, alongside a 17-year-old who claimed to be responsible for the artwork.
The guernsey design was chosen by the club after a competition encouraged high school students to submit entries which represents their family, culture and heritage .
However after Elle Campbell claimed to be the artist of the original design on social media overnight and demanded answers from Port Adelaide, the club initiated a full investigation, which concluded on Friday afternoon.

Most of the Round 9 games proved to be close-run affairs last week but there were exceptions with old Coast Suns being swamped by Brisbane by 73 points last Saturday being the most noteworthy.
Geelong overcame a persistent but inaccurate St Kilda to win by 21 points at the Marvel Stadium last Friday. At the SCG the following, Sydney Swans beat Collingwood by 30 points in a low-scoring game.
