When Madi Cores Sailer’s high school switched to in-person learning this marking period, her choice was easy: she would keep learning virtually.
Cores Sailer, a senior at Freehold Township High School, is one of thousands of New Jersey students who have continued learning virtually, even after their schools have opened classrooms either full- or part-time.
“I would much prefer to have a regular senior year and be in school, but my parents completely left this decision up to me whether I want to go back or stay home,” she told NJ Advance Media. “And I think it just makes more sense to stay home with everything going on.”
He gave up on himself. But after drug court success story, N.J. man started his own business.

Matthew Feit is a Drug Court success story. He just has to keep it up.
The 31-year-old Toms River resident who is recovering from heroin addiction and has been clean for six years is still heading the financial services firm he founded in 2016 while enrolled in Drug Court, the legal process available to non-violent offenders that’s an alternative to standard prosecution and jail time.

110 Kutztown University, Kutztown, Pa., students have been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success as part of the Fall 2020 class, including Samantha Mikos of Freehold. To be inducted at Kutztown, students must attend an orientation, a leadership training seminar, three success networking team meetings and three speaker broadcasts featuring leading figures delivering success-related messages to members.
James Bushover of Manalapan has been selected for inclusion on the St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y., dean’s list for academic achievement during the Fall 2020 semester. James is a member of the Class of 2023 and is majoring in computer science. He attended Freehold Township High School.
